Endogenous glucose oxidase activity does not exist in mammalian tissues, so the VECTASTAIN^® ABC-GO Kit can be used when endogenous peroxidases or alkaline phosphatases interfere with specific staining, and blocking of that endogenous enzyme activity is ineffective or would destroy antigenic determinants. The VECTASTAIN^® ABC Glucose Oxidase is the least sensitive of the VECTASTAIN^® ABC systems.
